Summer Scheme

Mobility Access

Unfortunately, it is difficult to provide access for participants with mobility issues within our schemes. The reason for this is that whilst the facilities we hire should have an element of wheelchair access we do not have access to whole sites. We generally have restricted use of facilities which then makes access difficult. In most cases the facilities rooms that we have access to have stairs with no lifts. There may be instances where a facility hire policy has changed and we have ground use only. In this instance there could be access to schemes after discussion with the Area Manager. The Area manager would discuss the risk assessment and contact the facility to see if arrangements could be made. Staff would then be able to adjust any programmes if necessary and if ratios were not compromised. At the minute this is our mobility access based on what we can use at facilities.

A Perfect Summer at Smile Club
Sandra Wrobel
Smile Club was an absolute hit with my child! The camp was full of fun, engaging activities, and my child came home every day with big smiles and exciting stories. The ladies who run the camp were amazing—so warm, caring, and attentive. It was clear they truly love what they do, and it made all the difference. My child can't wait to return next summer. Highly recommend Smile Club for a fantastic, fun-filled experience!
Great!

My two children (7 & 9) were really happy to return for the whole summer. Staff were lovely and so welcoming. Great range of activities and they were exhausted st the end of each day!! They've asked if they can go back at Halloween because they enjoyed themselves so much!
Energy and Fun

Our 6 year old has been to a few camps now on recommendations from other parents and most importantly the kids! The children are met with energy and enthusiasm when they arrive and as a mum I appreciate the diligent admin and info that comes our way when booking.
Bangor Summer Camp

My two children (aged 7 & 5) were anxious about joining a summer club outside of the only one in Bangor that runs a full day camp. This one was excellent - the best all day camp in the area. Such a shame that it is only for 2 weeks in the summer. Well organised, varied, and fun. Would be great if there was more regular offerings of the sports/activities advertised on the flyers (or an update of available sporting options at diffierent sites). Keep up the great work!
Summer 2024 - fantastic

My two children attended the summer camp held in Bangor. Really good facilities at Bangor Grammar and the drop off and pick up times are excellent for working parents. Most importantly the kids had an absolute ball and are already asking to make sure I book them in next year. They were also very accommodating with my daughter who ended up in an arm cast during the summer. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
